SO MUCH from this morning thread to deal with:
1. Pickled Eggs are fucking amazing. I made my own one christmas though and one disintegrated in the jar and they all went orange and looked toxic. Never again.
2. I also love anything pickled. Will be doing the Christmas onions in a couple of weeks now autumn has set in. Didn't get enough beetroot to pickle off the allotment, though, which has irked me.
3. I always do my Christmas cake too early and then get bored feeding it. I shall wait til my birthday ish in about a month.
4. Pineapple isn't a faff at all! And fresh pineapple is INCREDIBLE.
5. Agree with the mango, though.
6. Also made a roast- Aberdeen Angus beef, allotment roast potatoes, blue cheese cauliflower cheese, allotment carrots roasted with parsley and garlic, peas, red wine gravy.
7. Also joined Vinted and have sold two items for the grand total of £6 so far. OVERJOYED.
8. Though the weather was supposed to be thunderstorms and APOCALYPTIC today and it really hasn't been and I feel a bit cheated as a result.

I'm also a BIT ANNOYED at Mr Sheena who for the second year running has refused all approaches of "we need to sort out Christmas" as "too early" and now we can't find anywhere decent locally for Christmas lunch that can accommodate 8 of us and a wheelchair (my Mum). I've been banging on since the start of July about sorting his family out but they just plain refuse to do anything or make a decision. Same thing happened last year when I warned everyone that finding an AirBNB for 15 people at Christmas wasn't going to be the easiest task and I ended up having to drive to cunting WALES on Christmas Eve because no one would sort anything earlier. It's so fucking irritating.
