Sat on my back step at 8am this morning, glorious sunshine, beautifully coloured leaves falling softly from the trees, tits and robins fluttering back and forth from the bird feeder and squirrels frolicking in the trees. Bliss. Then my peace and quiet was shattered by the sound of an air-rifle being fired as Tatty Tail got to the top of the big tree next to my garden! It scared me to death, I jumped up and shrieked "what the f*ck?!" and looked to my left. My next-door-but-one neighbour was stood in his garden, my adrenaline was going and I shrieked "are you shooting at the squirrels?!" and he replied "yes, they eat my electrics!" (?) and in reply he got another "what the f*ck is wrong with you Ian? They aren't hurting anybody, you scared me to death. Seriously, what the f*ck is wrong with you?!". By this point probably only dogs could hear me, I was almost ultrasonic.

Hate to be a grass but if I hear or see him do it again I'll be reporting him to the police. Not for shooting squirrels, for shooting towards a park with no regard for public safety. He can't see who's on the park from his garden.

Sounds like a right weirdo. I worked with someone once who hated squirrels for the exact same reason; "they chew cables and cause fires". Grumpy bugger, so he was.

My advice would be to get an even higher powered bb gun and shoot the cunt in the ear next time. See how he likes it.

I was woken at 5am this morning by the smoke alarm beeping every few minutes. I gave up trying to ignore it at 5.30am, took the battery out and it CONTINUED TO BEEP.

So I went down 2 flights of stairs in my pyjamas, and locked it in the boot of the car.

I then couldn't get back to sleep

This is the wardrobe in my new bedroom. Isn't it beautiful?

So I got hammered last night and ended up back at a “straight” mate’s house who proceeded to make a move on me and we ended up basically getting off with each other for an hour and now I feel all awkward and weird about it and don’t really know how to approach it, so that’s fun.

MORNING MOOPY! :D

Oooh a love straight man goes gay for a night story.

How long have you known him? Has he shown any gayness before?

Since around lockdown. He’s a really close friend of one of my really close friends, so kind of circles the outside of our group.

I’ve actually always really fancied him and a couple of times I’ve noticed the odd lingering glance but it’s usually when we’ve all been trashed so I’ve not paid too much attention to it.

He claimed last night it was the first time he’d ever done anything with a bloke, but I’m not convinced.

I wonder if he will be awkward around you now, or if things will be back to normal...

It surely has to be awkward. Which is what I’m worried about. I mean, we all do silly things when we’re drunk, I get it, but he’s surely going to feel weird about it.

Hopefully he will acknowledge it and maybe discuss it with you. Ignoring it would make it more uncomfortable.

Yeah, I know, right? But I guess it depends on whether it was just trashed nonsense or whether it’s hiding something else.

Congratulations Sheena, and don't be awkward about it yourself, you're the light that helped him find his way

Establishing two-way communication often helps ease the tension in these situations. If you're sure to be meeting him soon, you could bring it up verbally. If not, sending a text is fine.

Since you don’t know his history and mental state, I'd broach the subject in a light and friendly manner with something like:

"I had a good time, glad to be part of your memorable first ;), and if you have any questions, feel free to ask."

Straight guys trying gay stuff usually has one or two major fears:
  1. That you will rat him out to his friends, leading the friend circle to gossip about him as the "gay slut".
  2. That the act itself will somehow turn him gay.

When straight guys trying gay stuff should actually focus on these fears:

3. That you will rat him out to your friends for not washing his arse suitably
4. Syphilis
