Sunday fails so hard darling

Someone may as well start the “Steamed Hams Monday” topic now :D

I'm sorry, when I was last in this thread I was happily wittering on about pansies. What the fuck happened?

I guess Japanese hamburgers are thicker? You sear them a bit until they are brown, then put in some water and put the lid on and leave it for a while.

they seemed to cook quite nicely in the end!

I wish my brother wouldn't post photos of my Dad's grave on Facebook. It's just a form of virtue signalling. I'd have a bit more respect for him if he actually did something for the other parent we have left, other than tapping her up for a few quid whenever he's short.

Anyone who does that is banned.

If this was an American film, I'd be opening up Moopy tomorrow to find that Indie had opened a thread called "Steamed Hams Monday" and I'd be fuming.

This is Octy right now.

Ugh! I'm certain my brother would do stuff like this too, if my dad had a grave (and I didn't have my brother hidden on Facebook). The other day he asked me for money, I said no, then he immediately phoned my mum to moan about it (then asked her for money too which she also said no to :tongueout:)

I’m glad the steamed ham chat made such a controversial addition. They were nice

it’s been quite a shitty day really

at least the washing up and aurora borealis are done in the kitchen

...At this time of year, in this part of the country, localised ENTIRELY in your kitchen?

Hi Moopy. I feel TERRIBLE and couldn’t even keep down a tea spoon of water this morning. This surely isn’t just a HANGOVER? :zombie:

I feel wretched today. I have retired to bed. I've not even drunk for a fortnight.

I don’t feel great but my flatmate’s invited me to a big gay party on the South Bank and I’m gagging for cock.

edit : Thanks Zen!

Moopy grammar police, did flatmates require an apostrophe in the above sentence?
Flatmate's for one flatmate

Flatmates' if there were multiple flatmates inviting you.

Ignore me I misread what you said. It does require an apostrophe I believe though.

It does require an apostrophe, because it's a contraction of 'flatmate has', isn't it?

Wait wasn't your flatmate still pretending to be straight in the Thursday thread?

I swear his flatmate had already taken him to a gay bar last week.

Currently sat in SPOONS for the first time since March :disco:

I think he means 'sitting', not 'sat'. I'm choosing to ignore the rest of the post.

I'm sat on my sofa, alone as ever, editing my dissertation to make it appear as if it was written by an academic rather than by a blogger and watching old coverage of Creamfields streaming on YouTube.

There's a magnum of fizzy wine in the fridge and despite some serious stomach cramps I'm very tempted to ruin it for myself.

I know it’s AWFUL and DISGUSTING but everywhere else was asking us to wait half an hour and it’s FREEZING
