I like my mans bits to be in proportion. He doesn’t have to be hung like a horse BUT they really are like a PIG IN A POKE when you need a magnifying glass and a pair of tweezers to pleasure him.

My dad's MIL has passed at the age of 91. Dementia so she'd been elsewhere for quite some time. Met her a few times, she was a cracking old stick. It's sad but in a way, it's difficult to mourn a long life well lived, especially given that the dementia had effectively taken her a good 18 months ago. But still, RIP Doris.

it's difficult to mourn a long life well lived,

I remember lolly saying this to me when Granny Star passed at 96, and it's so true. That doesn't mean you won't miss them dreadfully or ever forget them. I really wish she'd lived long enough to see my children, but she was suffering towards the end and that wasn't nice.

Sleep tight Doris x

It is a hard one though. I remember when my Gran (who also died at 96) that I felt the same - she had a stroke at 81 which left her in a wheelchair, but was mentally sharp and lived at home until about 3 months before she died. For me it underlined the difference between mourning and grieving. You have to allow yourself to grieve, even though at 96 it's hard to feel short changed. You've still lost someone who meant a huge amount to you.

In my case, my father died suddenly at 61 a matter of weeks later and that really fucked things up emotionally. To be honest I don't think even now (15 years later) I've processed it all. And I think at the heart of it is the fact that I never felt entitled somehow to grieve for my Gran.

Aaw sorry octy. Sending hugs! I agree it's a different kind of sad when someone dies at a good age, but it's still sad. I won't forget how lovely you were when my great aunt died last year. x

Oh DON'T

If I drop dead tomorrow, I absolutely hope that as soon as Star posts the lolly DEAD thread, the post immediately after it will be someone posting about how much of a cock hungry dick pig Lucille is :disco:

I think sending a bouquet of lollies would be most appropriate and inappropriate thing we could send
Lovely, but I'm charging you with making sure it's bought, not some shit Star knocked up after looking on pinterest.

If I don't get an "octophone DEAD" thread cometh the hour, I'm going to haunt you all. This post is proof when you have to say "it's what she would have wanted".
