Sunday hunday

yesterday was spent in the faraway countryside eating loads of food, today we're off to the posh suburbs to the north for a classy day. this weekend is the best in ages and I do not want to go to work tomorrow at all, I'm so sick of it at the moment :(
 
Thing is, in Glasgow, "hun" is not short for "honey". It's a derogatory term for a Rangers supporter (and/or a protestant but it's rare that anyone outside of football allegiances would use the term).

Just want to make y'all aware of this cultural anomaly and how much fun it is on a day when Rangers and Celtic are meeting for what will doubtless be a good-spirited, friendly encounter.

When I went to pick Mr F up from work last night there were tons of police vans and cars driving up and down the main road near to where he works. Discovered via the local rag this morning that I'd missed a Tommy Robinson rally being held 500 yards straight on from where I'd turned right onto the industrial estate. Pictures showed the usual assortment of inbreds, corned-beef-legged fuckwits and not-rights attending.

Fact learned today: Innocent oat milk isn't a patch on Oatly.
 
I got up at 7 and finished cleaning the oven after leaving it overnight as recommended

My only previous experience of oat milk was Oatly. And it's lovely - in coffee, on cereal, or even as a drink on its own, and I never drink dairy like that.

Innocent has a decent enough flavour, but the consistency is watery.
 
Just turned on the TV and Songs Of Praise is on. I'm genuinely slightly terrified.
 
I've been weeding the block paving with a FLAMETHROWER. I doubt it's going to have much effect but it's quite good fun :disco:
 
I am whiling away the afternoon dreaming of the chinese opening.
 
I've messed about with a synthesiser, listened to Stereolab and eaten some "Jack's Bacon Rashers" which are actually Tesco's cheapo Frazzles knock off. Except they're tastier. And vegan. Win.
