Sunday is guilty by association

Hi Moopy.

Mandy and I are on our way to London, I should be going with my mum but she's still poorly :(

I'm excited because it's sunny on the island, so I'm hoping London is the same!

Just so that you guys know, for the right price, I'd throw Moopy under the bus in an instant. I'd rat you all out, by name. Zero shame, zero remorse.

Good morning! 🤩

I am well known for this in my family, but not even for the right price, I do it for free. When I'm challenged about something bad I've done I will happily throw somebody else under the bus to deflect from me and turn the spotlight on them instead :D

I have organised for a bit of a garden party for my son and his friends for the old firm football match today. I have a man outside putting up a projector as we speak. The bar is LOCKED. :kim:

A man is walking up and down our train handing out tissues and a note that says he has no money for his family, and by buying these tissues we would help him.

And I have no cash. I never carry cash. But now I feel like I should always have £5 on me for moments like this :(

Well I did tell myself that to try and rid the guilt. Whilst I sat here eating my chocolate twist and playing on my expensive phone 😬
If it’s any consolation he’s probably LYING!

I’m a sucker for them too and I also don’t carry cash. Maybe they should start economising and get a card machine?

Has anyone watched Judi Love doing stand up? I absolutely adore her and am tempted to get tickets but I have only ever saw her at The Royal Variety Show on tv and found it quite tepid. I’m assuming that was just because she was performing in front of royalty?

Oh these people are run by gangs you know. I see them in the mornings having their daily huddle about who is going to go where and which disability they're going to have that day.

I've not seen her but she's playing here soon and was tempted. I suspect a Royal Variety Performance wouldn't be the most typical of her material.

good morning. I went on a first date last night and it was good but looking back I think I may have come across as a drunk mess
Weren't you hanging around with Alex in the drinking thread? That was never going to end well.

Exactly. I've noticed buskers now have card machines.

So we found Leake Street in London, very cool. Now we're in a little bar, and tomorrow might go the Vault festival.

I am a London convert.

Glad I didn't give him money!

Insisting on playing him the ASFM songs may have been a mistake.

Decided to buy a newspaper today. Learned Babycham is coming back. That was worth the price of it alone

Bolton is plagued by them in the form of traffic-light beggars. They all get dropped off in the morning and picked up again after evening rush hour. I always keep the car windows up at the lights now because it's quite intimidating being gurned at through your window, I also have the stave tucked down the side of my seat so I could break bones if a hand or arm entered the car. The police arrest them time after time, none of them are homeless, but they're back again the day after.

Yes!! Always trying to clean your car windows when you stop at the lights :argh:

Ours don't clean windows, they just stand there with an empty Costa cup and when the lights are red they wander up and down the queue of cars glaring into windows. I've seen people give them prepacked sandwiches and drinks and they just shove it in the bushes because they only want money.

I'm thankful they don't try to clean windows actually, if one of them tried to put a filthy rag anywhere near Lickle Red I wouldn't be able to stop myself.

I remember in New Zealand, cops would ask them to stop and eventually arrest them if they didn't listen, cuz drivers were becoming so uncomfortable.

Our cops do arrest them regularly, they then get bailed to appear in court in several months' time and are back at the traffic lights the next day. It's absolute nonsense. Our police tell us not to give them anything because they aren't really homeless, they broadcast their names and addresses on social media when they're arrested and it's all the same names over and over again. I'm not sure what else can be done about them, they make so much money from it so they're never going to stop.

Yeah shes funny and talks about her fanny a lot

The stupid fucking CUNT in front of me on the train is alternating between loudly sniffing and eating crisps with her mouth open. I’m about to do my fucking nut.

Unfortunately here begging is legal, the police will not bother at all, unless it's a child doing the begging, or if they are carrying a child with them while begging.
