Sunday Leaves Rice Krispies in the Variety Pack 'til Last

But you don't like food that much at all, do you? You've said before you're very much eat to live, whereas I'm live to eat.

Or is it just because nothing tastes much of anything at all unless you add chilli to it?

Or BOTH, I suppose.

Yeah I could happily eat a tin of sweetcorn for dinner. But if I am cooking then it's all tasteless to me unless I put chilli in.

I've just bought into media hype and bought an orange Twirl.

It was alright.

I’m very much “live to eat” rather than the other way around.

Seaweed powder, you say? Hmmm...wonder if that’s only for Asian-y foods? I’m also not a massive fan of salt, which is the other thing lots of vegetarian food uses to get flavour.

I think you can often use it instead of salt. It has a lot less sodium, and also adds a savouriness that salt alone doesn't. It does still taste salty though- I don't think you can really get away from that.

Interestingly as much as I'm crap with heat (unlike you), I love salt (also unlike you). I very rarely add it at the table, but use it a lot in cooking, and always have at least two or three different types on the go. I need to watch it though as Mr L often tells me I'm too generous with it.

Interestingly, we just finished a small pot of rock salt we bought when we first moved in together. Nine years ago! I haven’t bothered replacing it yet- it only ever comes out when people come round generally. I don’t use it in cooking at all...

I've just discovered that Papa Johns are doing 50% off all their vegan food this weekend, and it ends tonight. I was about to put something on for dinner but fuck it. Vegan pizza it is!

I tried a vegan pizza from Papa John's for the first time this week. Never again.
