There's so much going on in the city centre today. Lot's of outdoor music events and street food etc. Looks like fun, but I'm heading off for a bbq which is also fine. I've not cooked once this weekend!

Wake up, open Facebook, guess it's Scat Sunday or something

WHY IS THIS A THING

Most surreal happening of my weekend was going into my mum's "bag of bags" for a carrier bag and pulling out what can only be described as a vintage Tesco bag in pristine condition. It details that the Tesco Charity of the Year 1998 is Help The Aged and made of superior plastic. The next ten minutes were spent passing the hallowed carrier bag between the eight adults in the house, all commenting on how sturdy the plastic is and how it doesn't look aged at all.

The bag is now safe in my own bag of bags. :shy:

I competed in a Survivor event the gays here host annually, where we do drinking games/sports etc. Out of 25 contestants I made Top 4 and got the robbed queen edit :disco:

Needed an exact size bit of wood to put my PC on (moving it to my room and want to keep it off the carpet). Went to B&Q offcuts, they cut one for free (only 2 cuts needed, they charge for 5), total cost 10p. Definitely my cheapest room project so far.

Apparently we will get FROST this week here. I thought it was AUGUST. :goodgrief:

Still, I see your point. I didn’t think we usually got frost until around OCTOBER.
