It's gorgeous here, 20°C. But I also feel quite flat today, my parents have been over for the past 10 days (not staying at my place but visiting, still) and I feel like my social and family batteries are a bit empty now.

I'm absolutely not used to having company every evening for multiple days in a row.

Quite sunny and nice here. I'd been musing on why we've had ladybirds on the kitchen window and it's almost November. Came downstairs a bit later and they had gone so I went outside to look and discovered tons of them hiding under the ledges above the kitchen windows. Looks like they're going to hibernate there.

It's grim realising that I'm not likely to get home from work in the light for about four months

Our office has motion sensor lighting. Because of the number of people of now work from the home, they keep going out after 15 minutes. This is tolerable in summer, a pain in the jacksie in winter.

Finished hoovering upstairs around half past five and realised just how dark it would be driving home from work tomorrow. Now I'm thinking I should've gone to Specsavers weeks ago
