I’ve been in London all day yesterday and am staying up today to see a friend. We were supposed to meet for lunch and then go out tonight, have a hotel booked etc. She’s just delayed turning up til 4pm “ish”. Which means I basically now have nothing to do til then.

Back from seeing the fam. The boy is in good part, the girl is a bit sulky and my brother and sister in law are hale and hearty, if recovering from lurgee. Never mind the Xmas stuff, I'm playing some reggae. The Gladiators, to be exact.

Really fancied sausage butties so I made sausage, mash, peas and gravy for Mr F's tea then discovered that the only ketchup in the house that wasn't at least eight months out of date is a teeny sachet left from Burger King ages ago. I've already had a bath, in my jamas and my hair is wet, no way I'm drying my hair and getting dressed again to go to the shop.
