Happy Easter.

It's sunny, it's quiet out and the birds are singing, the little bastards.

We've been sat in the garden for the last hour with coffee. It was peaceful as it ever gets out there in day time. The nearby Church bells ringing for 5 minutes was charming.

Nip round there and hammer at THEM

I’m looking super in my Easter bonnet and am off to CHURCH later

Apparently there was a rave in the woods on the other side of the river last night, and the neighbours aren't happy. I slept right through until being divebombed by a cat at about 7.30.

When is it acceptable to start on the Easter eggs?

In A&E huns. Sliced the back of my hand open huns. Doing the dishes huns. It was a fucking mess huns.

I can imagine A&E is a sight for sore eyes on a bank holiday weekend

It is scorching here

I want to go to the beach but it’ll be horrific

Hot here too but I'm feeling a bit to shit to deal with the hoards. There was already a rammy in Kelvingrove Park on Friday so Glesga's already got sunstroke. One of my pals says she was on her travels on Friday and saw some lassie on a shed with her baps out. Sheesh.

Not a corned beef tin, was it? I swear they are designed to maim.

Pint glass broke while I was cleaning inside it. Cut right through a vein.

Happy Easter Moopy. I have had a very stressful morning/afternoon cooking for all the family, but it all seemed to go down a treat. We are all outside now and most are trying to neck as much poitin as they can get down their greedy necks. Who said it’s no fun being Irish? :zombie:

@Ag, get Mr Ag to wash up from now on :disco:

I can report that church was all very well but I’d forgotten all that constant STANDING UP and SITTING DOWN lark, not to mention the dreadful stress of not knowing the tune to the hymns

I’m EXHAUSTED

Easter Sunday is always a CHORE. Good Friday and 2 hours of our babbling old priest from MAYO is sleep inducing to say the least. The churchgoers are the absolute worst. I am sorry Jeanette that I will not turn up to the Summer church fete in my finest tweed but some of us are not ALLERGIC TO SUN. :manson:

Mercifully I decided to ignore the instructions to KNEEL. I mean there are limits and I wasn’t convinced that Jesus would necessarily be available to assist with fractures :(

A flare up of your housemaid's might knee might give you grounds to sue God though.

Where there's blame, there's a claim.

I'm fairly sure last year it was slim pickings on the reduced price Easter egg front here.

That one on the right’s developed a look of Isabella Blow. (Pre-weedkiller)

We used those just eat bikes to escape the beach and go for a tour around the city.

Home now and my legs are like jelly.
