Italians across the globe have had their ears ringing all week what with all the butchered pronunciations of "sbagliato" ❤️
 
Weirdly hot here again too, I was worried about my sensitive alabaster skin. Also I had a headache I have no idea why, so I was scowling from the shadow like Nosferatu

I had the same. The flu hurt more going in and immediately after, but after a couple of hours, nothing. The covid arm remained sore for quite a few days.
 
I was making negroni sbagliato a couple of years ago at the suggestion of an Italian friend. Why have they suddenly become a thing now? Have people stopped pretending they like Aperol Spritz finally?

A music writer started a thread about The Fall this morning on Twitter and now I;m in my happy place pulling out my Fall vinyl from its recently constructed new Kallax home. 😌

Infuriated trying to get Ghibli Park tickets again - I totally failed in the ticket lottery last time, this time I'm going for January but I can't even ENTER!! There was a long queueing system, and when I get to the end is just sends me in loops until I time out. FUCK YOUUUUUU

You know... I listened to 3 (yes 3) albums and there was not a bad song on any of them. One song made me think it was the origin of Monkey's Gone to Heaven. And then I got stuck in a loop of the Disney one. I don't have any of the names, but colour me completely embarrassed to have not bothered to listen before. There were just so many to choose from, but I think I stayed in the 80s and obviously chose well.
 
Oh, but why am I here? Well I'm absolutely clueless as to what to get my sister for her 40th - has anyone got ideas or examples of what they've given as gifts for such "milestones"?
