I’m still in Helsinki, came for an event that was cancelled by the time I got here, there’s airport strikes so I was booked onto a new flight after my last homeward bound was cancelled only for this one to now be cancelled so I’ll now be here to Tuesday. I’m sure work are delighted as I was starting a new role Friday past.

My Grindr suggests every Finn appears to be a Top too so that is also disappointing as that was potentially a passing the time option.

Yes, I went to Estonia yesterday for the day, really enjoyed the time there.

Also I’ve been trying to learn some Finnish as I do like to try and speak some of the language in the places I visit on some sort of level but it (and other Uralic languages) are definitely amongst the toughest I’ve come across.

I went to the Olympic stadium too which was also the site of the 1st world athletics championships, there’s a tower which overlooks the city and a rather nice sports museum on site where I was greeted by a large collage of the sweetheart of the ‘83 Games, Jarmila Kratochvilova.
