I'm 6 days late, but if the price is decent I'll definitely bite. I would still love Nintendo to do a Super Mario Kart 99 for NSO with 16-bit sprite designs for Rosalina and other newer races, but until then this could scratch that nostalgic itch with the necessary modern touches to make it compelling.
Despite being mostly ex-Rare guys, I don't think Playtonic are all that and the 3D Yooka-Laylee was lacking polish, tried to match Mario in scope and fell flat on its arse frankly. I never got passed the demo of the 2D game as the loading times on the OG Switch were tedious.
