For years when I was a child I thought Maureen made a cameo in a cut of Superman or Superman II in a sub plot that explored Lois's backstory but I must have imagined it and been thinking of the (ghastly) Salkind produced film instead.

Went into this with low expectations but I enjoyed it alot. It's similar in tone to Masters of the Universe in that it embraces the silliness with APLOMB.

Jason Momoa was the highlight.

I think my expectations were too high. Insanely repetitive action, hardly any humour, surreal and shit villains. It reminded me of Tank Girl without the camp element to it.

It didn't match the original campness of the 1st but I enjoyed it for what it was. I was 4 when the original came out, I'm 46 when this came out. Not the target audience.
