I wouldn't normally start a thread at such an early stage, but Ta-Nehisi Coates being involved as the writer seems to have a lot of people speculating that we'll be getting a film about a black Superman (either a black Clark Kent or the existing alternative universe Superman, Calvin Ellis).
Apparently Michael B. Jordan tried to get something similar off the ground a few years ago as part of his production deal but the studio didn't go with it - I wonder if they could tempt him back for this? I think he could be pretty incredible in the role
