Christ, Susan Boyle is actually really unwell, isn't she? :(

Do they just keep her in a secure unit 11 months of the year and wheel her out for a couple of mortifying promo performances round yuletide? I remember her last X Factor performance was very 'Right, she's done, get her out quick before she starts throwing cats' too.

Seems over medicated to me. Well, over medicated to perform, perhaps not to live.
 
It's the arms held out that you see before the rest of her as the camera pulls out. Choreo AND lyrics obviously a bit much for Blackburn's finest.

1. When the camera pans out to Wendy and bitch is clearly living in the moment
2. "Beautiful" performance exclaims Wendy
3. The so organic, raw and empowering interpretation of the lyrics from our Subo
 
That was shockingly bad - even by Susan Boyle standards.

She appears to be barely concious.

It's the drunken Scottish drawl that I particularly liked.
 
Susan Boyle has sparked fresh health concerns after a ‘zombie-like’ appearance on Jonathan Ross’s Christmas special led her to pull out of the show.

The former Britain’s Got Talent runner-up had been scheduled to both perform and be interviewed on the show, but reportedly struggled to cope with rehearsals, having to be given water and helped from the stage.

Eventually she left the recording altogether – leading to her appearance being shelved.

‘Susan was in such a state,’ an insider told Heatworld.

“She was confused, eyes glazed, and needed to be led on and off stage. She also needed help drinking water.

“Her performance was very shambolic. She was supposed to be singing Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire, but it didn’t work.”

A spokesperson for the singer said she had been suffering a throat infection and had ‘tried very hard to perform’.

Boyle recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, after years of believing she was brain damaged.

The condition is a form of autism which sees sufferers struggling in social relationships and in communicating.

She said of the diagnosis: ‘It’s a condition that I have to live with and work through, but I feel more relaxed about myself.

‘People will have a greater understanding of who I am and why I do the things I do.’

The singer is tipped to enter the charts this weekend with her Christmas track O Come All Ye Faithful, which sees her duet with Elvis.

I think she actually comes across as lucid, just awkward, in the interview, which is understandable in light of her recent diagnosis. It's the performance that's just utterly bizarre.
 
Which show was it where she didn't realize the performance was live and asked to start it again?

I feel vaguely uncomfortable watching SuBo.
It's not really funny to watch someone who is clearly not in control and who has little understanding of her situation being made to perform like this.
SuBo is the new Britney.

Out of curiosity who is looking out for SuBo's interests - SyCo only care about the cash (and SuBo is a moneymaker).

Does her family look after her?
 
Does she have much family? I always got the impression it was just her and her mother, and when she died she became a bit of a shut-in.

Though I'm sure plenty of distant relatives have come out of the woodwork in recent years...
 
Susan's stylist has certainly been great in the past year or so :disco:✨ and she seems quite eager with all the marketing stuff and recording; I hope this new era turns out fascinatingly well 😊 🎶
 
this time she’ll be hot as fuck, but she won’t be able to sing :(
