One of my favourite things on the internet, ever :D I also love the absolutely superfluous and unnecessary Buffy tie-in.
 
Also good morning! I'm having a lie in, while poor old @ZenGiraffe is off to start work at a certain conference that's happening around here soon :shock: Yes, on a Sunday :(
 
Half my office has had an absolute benny about A Certain Conference because of possible travel disruption, including the planned rail strike. It's opened up the home-working/office-working divide again.
 
I'm now caught up and got every thread from last night nice and marked as read. :)

I was meant to be doing Tesco today but yesterday's deep-cleaning in the dining-room has played havoc with my asthma (dust) and I've barely got it under control after many tokes on both inhalers overnight and this morning. Reckon I'd be thrown out immediately if a coughing-fit started so I've had to order Burger King delivery for dinner.

I have got a ridiculous mask that I should wear when doing big cleaning (Mr F even reminded me before I started) but I can't remember where I put it "safely".
 
So I had a girlfriend over this afternoon and we had a catch up over a couple of bottles of wine. My son came home from his Dads around 10 minutes ago just as I was polishing off what was left at the bottom of a bottle telling me he is back to school tomorrow. Well how should I KNOW? I got told “mum, I am 14 you should know this type of thing”. Yeah, fair point. Taxi to school for young Diarmuid in the morning. Seriously though, that 2 weeks went past MEGA QUICK.

To be fair 14 is well old enough to be sorting himself out anyway!

I was thinking that myself, but in fairness I do drive him to school as we live around 2 miles outside of town. I don’t usually have a drink on a school night because of that but seem to have just totally lost track of the days. His uniform is all ready, and has been since he went off for the holidays. A taxi has been ordered and I will pick him up after school and all shall be OK with the World again.
