it wasn't about slut shaming by any means. it did cover a lot of the negative press she received including the headlines about her celebrity relationships however.Apparently she has published a documentary on Netflix about slut-shaming so I guess this is PERSONAL with the NETWORK.
she's overreacting
I don't get why she shouldn't react since the 'joke' is about her? Seriously, if she's sick of being the butt of the same joke for a over a decade then good on her for speaking up.

But how is this Netflix’s fault? They give the show a budget and platform, sure, but it’s not as if they write the shitty script? I’m sure they can edit that line out of the show as a gesture /PR move similar to how the Saved by the Bell reboot took out that Selena Gomez line when it got bad press.

To be perfectly honest her previous string of boyfriends and the Kanye West incident has made her infamous. Wasn’t Shake It Off about all the “haters”?
I can probably name about 5 of her songs at most and they’re all about her boyfriends and the press. If it wasn’t for that she’d probably not be as well known outside of current pop fans.

I know very little of this woman other than that she appears to be a prissy, self-involved fucking nightmare. How awful, people make fun of celebrities! God forbid she ever watches The Simpsons, or Family Guy, or 30 Rock, or basically every sitcom ever written, she'd surely be as angry about the jokes at the expense of other celebrities as she is over this. I just hope she's never watched a show where the English are characterised as foppish and having bad teeth, or the Germans are characterised as humourless and dour, or the Swedes as busty nymphos, because by her own scaling system that's intensely xenophonic and she'd be a participant in it.
Or it's just a fucking joke, and if we start saying we can no longer make fun of anyone ever, then the whole purpose of comedy will soon be undermined by a shower of joyless fucking puritans.
I hope this doesn't mean we're not getting 'Better Than Revenge (Taylor's Version)'
It FUCKS.
