I personally enjoyed the Fearless album and 2009 re-release, but to be fair to @Suedey she didn't give us much to work with until the 2010s!

The debut album remains mostly unlistenable.

She's a strange one. Quite appealling but I'm not really sure why. She's not all that attractive and her voice is not good AT ALL but her songs... are. Love Story is pretty great. Carrie Underwood should be the one terrorising the UK, not Taylor, but any country-pop INVASION is fine by me.

CANCEL JARKETTE. especially for the lie in bold. the teenage misogyny jumped out!

The thing is, based on the decountryed version of "Love Song", I wouldn't have picked her to have a career outside of the US yee-haw scene. I had to content myself with a dodgy download of the proper version.

Even in 2019, I wouldn't have picked her to make the best album of 2020. But there you go. Some people when they hit it, they hit it right and they hit it hard.
