Glad Pliskova shook off the nerves and stood up the court a bit to play her game to go into the third set. Don’t mind who wins, maybe Barty, would be tough to lose from that position.
 
OMG! Barty won the first 14 points and looked to bake her way to the trophy but somehow Pliskova takes it to the third! Amazing! I’m so nervous for her
 
You just never know which Pliskova will show up. When the serve is off, her game crumbles as we saw in the first set. Hoping Barty takes this as she has the better all round game.

It was nerves at the start and she probably was having flashbacks to the Rome final.

Yes, but Kristyna smashed her own chair at the end of the Pavlyuchenkova match.

I enjoyed Karolina interacting with the crowd support during the match, and it was great to see her smiling after points trying to enjoy the match. So unlike her to shed tears during her speech.
 
Happy for Barty. This works for me after the RG "chaos".

But deep down, gutted for my Czech queen.
 
Castle is horrendous. BBC Sport obviously don’t read their socials for feedback the amount of dislike he and Inverdale generate yet still get leads. I think Henman is pretty good.

I love it when he talks about his non-achievements in Grand Slam tennis events when he was about as decorated a tennis player as Marcus Willis was.
 
Search for the names of all the commentators on Twitter and Castle is the only one that is universally negative year after year. WHY are they still using him?

Astonishing his two career highlights are losing 6-0 in the fifth set in the 1st round of Wimbledon to clay court specialist Wilander and the result below and this was enough to become a BBC pundit. The players who followed on from Henman and Murray must be fuming with them for doing so well and blocking their chances in media.

More British success in the mixed doubles tournament, Neal Skupski and his American partner beat all British team Harriet Dart and Joe Salisbury. Harriet Dart knows how to pick her partners!
