Pretty straightforward for Iga so far. I would have preferred a final with her against Sabalenka 🤷🏼‍♀️
 
robbed of the Sabs Iga final we deserve :( that was a great SF though. Aryna just had too much to do at 1-4 in the third.

Swiatek v Bencic on the other hand... is she going to bagel this second set? non-event.
 
Intrigued to see how the final goes. They've never played each other in seniors.

Iga has only dropped one set all tournament and her confidence has been building since that second round match, looking more dominant with each match. She has won every slam final contested and you've got to think that added to her confidence makes her the favourite.
 
I’ve been completely uninspired by the women’s tournament this year, apart from Kartal’s rally into the 4th round, a glimpse of Raducanu playing good tennis again and the Bencic/Andreeva match. Was it because so many quality players went out early? Or am I being harsh?
 
Fritz so close to pushing Alcaraz to a fifth set. 2 titles & a semi final with a nightmare first 2 rounds in monster servers Mpetshi & Diallo is still an excellent grass season & no shame in this loss.
 
Well that second match was an anti climax. As for the first Fritz played unbelievably well yet still lost. King Carlitos providing the entertainment as per.

It's literally JUST chicken and mozzarella with an absolute modicum of spice. I should have known not to trust an American with anything related to food.
 
Overall the championships this year have been somewhat underwhelming and I include the men's tournament in that summary. I can't think of that many memorable matches.
 
Two dopers winning is going to be such a good look for “clean” tennis.
 
Iga has been playing so well since the French and deserves this title but what an awful final. if Amanda suffers the double bagel...

The commentary is hilarious because there is so very little to say.

I pray tomorrow's final lives up to the hype. I know both players will be giving their all at least.
