Terrence Hardiman was best known for his role as the hypnotising lead in The Demon Headmaster, but also made appearances in The Crown and Minder, as well as stints on Secret Army and Crown Court.

Demon Headmaster was an absolute staple of my after school afternoons. I tried to rewatch it recently and it had…not aged well.
