Surely a future entrant into @COB ’s creepers series. This brutal throwback movie about a murdering clown is apparently having daft people pass out etc etc…

Anyway it is relentless with the gore (in ways I found hilarious) and it’s so long (over 2 hours) that eventually it makes you feel kinda grubby.

Plot doesn’t make sense but then it’s not really a plot movie. The clown itself is so upsetting and one kill in particular lasts quite a while and involves bleach and salt.

The first one was just brutal and apparently inspired some fatalities in the most recent Mortal Kombat game.

I just watched the kill count on YouTube, and it's more of the same so I've probably not missed anything. That bleach and salt scene made me wince.

I haven't seen these but they just sound unpleasant - I've heard the first one is decent for what it is and has quite a tight running time, but the thought of over two hours of just relentless kills and gore doesn't sound fun.

The first one was just a splatter movie that reminded me too much of Rob Zombie to find it enjoyable, so I'm not massively fussed about watching this.

I watched them both over Halloween and they are brutal gorefests, if that's your bag. Sort of witty too and Art The Clown is an instant horror icon

The first one is actually quite dull, with zero in the way of plot to pad out the setpieces. The second has more to it and actually doesn't feel too long, despite its ridiculous two hour plus runtime. The plot does take a ludicrous twist towards the end to guarantee us a third instalment (as if those box office returns weren't enough!).

Kudos for the practical effects though, someone did some serious overtime getting all those rubbery limbs and buckets of gloopy blood on screen. Still, I don't think this is the rise of a new Sam Raimi though.

I watched this last night. It makes the Hatchet movies look like My Little Pony. It's unrelentingly gory but the dreadful acting from everyone makes it funnier than it needs to be.

It's been so long since I saw it and I remember nothing from it aside from that killer always appearing on the screen in a goofy way (and looking goofy as well).
