That's pretty normal imo, i feel exactly the same. Sometimes i even think to myself that i don't go around expecting people to congratulate me every time i have bareback.Moopy I think there's something fundamentally wrong with me. When friends tell me they're pregnant and everyone around them is super excited for them, I genuinely feel nothing. I have to fake excitement just so I don't look like a bitch.
Someone telling me they're pregnant is as exciting to me as someone telling me they're going shopping in Tesco.
If someone told me they were getting a puppy or going on holiday tho, I'd be super excited and jealous.
I can only assume I just lack all the emotions most women are born with when it comes to babies![]()
We aren't all born to be parents though. It takes talent and dedication. I mean in its essence, not in the "hurray your reproductive system works" announcement.I do often think about my feelings towards motherhood. I honestly believe it isn't normal because I'm female and should want a baby. I'm hoping I don't regret it when I hit the menopause because it'll be a bit late then![]()
