It's out in the US on December 8th, not sure about the UK.

Thos looks stunning from the teaser, always loved the darker Ghibli movies a lot more than some of the more TWEE efforts.

This was lovely, beautifully animated and completely surreal to watch. The ending could have been expanded a tad, rather than exposition.

I loved this. The murderous, bloodthirsty parakeets were an adorable touch.

Personally could have done with less guano but the film was beautiful.

I enjoyed the first half hour, the rest after that...not so much.

I've only ever seen Studio Ghibli's "normal" films and stayed away from the fantasy stuff because I didn't expect to get on with it and yeah, this confirmed that!
