I wouldn't count it out. They still tour (and an interesting reply on that FB thread is that they would love to tour the UK but no promoter seems interested...) and are therefore on good terms. I can see them having a reunion at some point, though, yes, Nina seems to be interested in other projects right now.

Again, someone in that thread asked about deluxe editions but they responded that m the vault is controlled by Universal (ugh!) basically and they have no control over deluxe editions etc.

Animal Heart was the last thing I bothered with. Maybe I should investigate- it’s “one of those” voices for me.

Reunion albums can go either way - they don't need one, they can sell out decent venues without a new record.

It just feels inevitable, because as you pointed out, they still tour. Eventually they'll get tired of playing the old songs, start fiddling and maybe we'll get something out of it. Look at ABBA - Anni-Frid and Agnetha sangt at a Mamma Mia event, which then led them talking about doing something to celebrate ABBA, then they started working on a tv special, which then turned into them recording two songs, which then snowballed into ABBA Voyage and a full album.

It'll happen. Hopefully before they're in their 70s.

My understanding is that they don't make new music because Peter Svensson - who wrote their music - has no interest in reuniting and I think that's fair. It would be a shame for them to pop back up as The Cardigans doing music that doesn't sound like The Cardigans.

Not to have a big ol moan but selling these as separate volumes just feels like an excuse to charge more.

Obviously quite a lot of this material was collated on the best of second disc. I want the extra stuff but will hold off buying initially I think.

I actually thought for the vinyl, £36.99 (which I’ve seen at Resident Records) was pretty cheap. £80 for what will be four albums is pretty good in this climate.

Also less bothered about the stuff being on the previous best of as it wasn’t available on vinyl. But yes, it would be nice to have more entirely unreleased stuff. There’s certainly room on that second volume.

I think that’s a necessity. The earlier stuff is so different to the later that it would have really been an odd listen chopping and changing things up.

And it was packed out and GREAT! A rather neatly divided show showcasing all the eras and not as much focus on the early stuff (that I don't really know) as I thought. The fakeout of doing a weird version of Lovefool then just doing it straight was a particular highlight.

7pm to the new standard for starting times please.

The number of times she said quite quizzically "ARE YOU OKAY?"

But it was an absolutely EXCELLENT show. They were perfect. The setlist was SO heavy on Long Gone Before Daylight - they played 3/4 of the album!

Her voice was INCREDIBLE
