The Celebration Tour 2023 (Greatest Hits)

There is a live nation pre-sale tomorrow, think you have to just set up an account with them

Just working that out now.

I didn't realise pre-sale today was anything other than O2/ fan club.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHH. I fucking hate buying tickets.

has anyone got a generic CODE? I'm looking for London and Amsterdam

They've cottoned on to the codes and have started deactivating them :eyes:

London presale is a mess.

I got Amsterdam golden circle early entry via AmEx presale.

or do i have to wait for the Live Nation presale and hope for the best?
Try that and if all else fails just sit tight and also try the general sale. There will be more London dates announced I am sure (apparently 4 nights is what they're hoping for). There's probably going to be a second Amsterdam date as well.

the tours are so confusing these days!

in other news, apparently Kevin Antunes is musical director again. not the best news for those who enjoy INSPIRED ARRANGEMENTS.

Not £725 for the Iconic package??
Now THAT I would pay!

God she's a ROTTEN OLD BAG. Remember when Madame X was listed as being so expensive because it was a small venue?

WELL...

It's pretty gross really, isn't it - I'm convinced the main reason she charges so much is so she can get headlines for the "biggest tour takings ever" further down the line, as many have said she doesn't need the money.

Absolutely! It's entirely unnecessary.

I mean, you don't see GAGA pushing her prices up...

I really wanna go... but not at 200+ quid a ticket! Especially when we've no idea what the set list will include yet.

Atlanta presale says its not up for 5 days? Even though its before the Europe dates? Its so confusing

many other tours are very expensive too. Taylor's US prices were in the high hundreds. Gaga needed to fill stadiums, she priced accordingly.

that said my upper limit is like 175 for standing and I don't think I'll go if it's gonna be more than that.

I spent a ridiculous amount of Taylor Swift tickets and I don't think it would be smart to spend that on another concert, but I am tempted

The way I look at it, more cost-effectively priced tickets give you more of an incentive to go. At the prices she charges these days, you'd think you'd only be paying that if you hadn't seen her before or wanted to see her before you died...and how many times can you keep doing that?

She takes all the fun out of it. I'd have considered going but not at these prices.

I also find the higher the prices, the shittier the concert. Always surrounded by corporate arseholes. Ever go to a Hyde Park concert in the Gold/Diamond zone? At least half of the ticket holders are drunk executives not even there to enjoy a show.

Not always true
I paid through the nose for rebel heart best seats in Birmingham and she sang love don’t love here anymore RIGHT AT ME and that to me was worth everything
Also I saw @Beverley 💅🏾 there and I’m sure the person next to us was a sex worker

I spend a couple of hundred quid to go to a festival for a whole weekend though, where you get to see loads of artists.

I couldn't justify spending the same money on seeing one artist - even if it is Queen Madge.

For every person who says they want tickets we have 2-3 who say she's so over and irrelevant and how it's so expensive and they wouldn't want to go.
It's like Groundhog Day all the time.
We get it, you're "not interested." :eyes:

Not even tempted, but just thinking of all of you at this stressful time

I'm 'not interested' regardless of price, but I don't think she's over or irrelevant. She's just not for me as a live act any more - or at least one I'm willing to travel to London for.

I don’t get the vibe anyone is saying she is irrelevant sweets. More just the ticket prices are prohibitively expensive that it’s not worth the hassle for some when you could see three decent name acts for that price.

🥴

(The price is £454, which has to be some kind of resell rate?!)

Anyway £142 isn't actually that bad (in reference to his other tweet), and in line with her previous tours. I don't really know what people expect! Have they been to any gigs recently? It's £100 for Morrissey at the Eventim - JUST SAYING.
