It was a nice episode, a bit over stuffed with guest stars but I had a few laughs.
 
I could cry tears a joy. Just the perfect reintroduction.

That Seeing Red audition was just the right side of excruciating. So very Valerie.

Don't wory, I've been on board the Beverly Hills train from the beginning. People are just missing out, it's far better than any other housewives franchise. So glad they got rid of Carlton and Joyce for the next season. In the preview Lisa gets slapped :o
 
I'm so glad I loved it as much as ever! So many hilarious little moments - my favourite being when the elevator doors opened and Val had obviously made the crew do a dozen takes to get it perfect. :D

Good show. I hope Sarah Silverman's sister is back, her facial expressions may have been the best part of the first series.

Oh my 300,000 is just abysmal. This really has no appeal whatsoever beyond gays (thank fuck).
 
Well it is very niché, I can't imagine anyone who isn't gay getting half of the jokes.
 
It may well have been just for the fans, but they certainly put a fair bit behind it to help promote it, so that's got to sting either way.
 
And wasn't the amount of fans meant to have grown exponentially in the intervening years? It's a shame but as long as we get the whole season which we obviously will, I'm at peace with it.

Mine and Valerie's style of smoking weed is eerily similar. "This is good stuff!"

Her scene trying to shill her series to Jane was hilariously shameless, another solid episode. I can tell we're building to some sort of Paulie G meltdown which I'm looking forward to...

I tried to pause on the close up of her post filler face, but it had the ringer controls up and her mouth was obscured.

Also next week has something about HBO and the sex scenes and you know Lisa likes a good feminist monologue.
 
The HBO walk was one of the highlights of the entire series for me. Of course she hasn't seen The Wire. :D (Not that I have.)
 
One thing that's grating with me slightly is the assumption that I should know who these various US reality people are.
 
They're all Bravo people so far, I'm sure they assume that all of us gays know them.

2nd episode was definitely stronger than the first. I LOLled a lot more.
 
I actually watched my first episode of The Wire because of this and it looks amazing.

Per the show thrilled Jane is back and I hope she continues to have an increased presence. But with ratings dropping to 183,000, this can't be too far from an online exclusive. :D
 
It inspired me to watch New Girls, starring Lela Durham. Two years late, but it's amazing.

At first I thought this got off to a shaky start, but now that I've re-watched episodes 1 and 2 before episode 3 went down (ahem...), I'm happy to put that down to simply being the camera work. I actually laughed more watching it a second time. There are too many quotes to pick out just a few, but the infomercial where she goes into precise detail over the special ingredients is my favourite part so far. Micky's queeny reaction about the knee caps is a close second. This is just so, so good.
 
The improv class was utterly excruciating!

I really hope they're not building up to kill off Mickey.
 
I'd kill for a climbing the ladder GIF.

Chinese woman was very un-PC and all the better for it.
