My release radar has updated (without Madonna) but no NMF yet.

Was going to flick it but I'll listen to (some of) it so I can get into the right VIBE

Still a bop, but I don't think it would make my Top 50

Good For The Soul - 7

Lots of robotic speak-singing again in the verses so not feeling the vocal, but the production is nice enough. I don't actually see this one having much room for growth, but we'll see. She's yet to break half an octave in any melody.
 
I have so many questions. DID SHE DO ANYTHING ELSE? WHERE IS SHE NOW? Is the answer just VERY OBVIOUSLY DEAD?!

One Step Away is reminding me of something else she's done. It's not Miles Away, but I feel like this could be overlaid on Miles Away?
 
GOD the production on this is fabulous. Trying to think what it reminds me of. The vocal is lovely but a bit QUIET as it's not layered. That won't bother me after a second listen.
 
Good For the Soul is a bit of a bore to me. monotone. my least favourite on the album I think...

I feel like this is going to be a REAL KEEPER. She just doesn't try to overstate it or overplay it. It's almost progressive in its delivery. A lovely build. Yes yes and more yesses.

Also the transition into Bring Your Love is fucking FABULOUS
