Were they working on a Fleetwood Mac covers album at some point?

All signs point to yes. Tacking three random Fleetwood Mac covers onto a 22 year old GH sounds very odd. They did have a handful of hits following this release namely Angel, Summer Sunshine, When The Stars Go Blue along single releases from White Light and Jupiter Calling (Not necessarily hits but whatever).
