They're one of my favourite bands of all time. CONVENIENTLY they stopped short of SHITTING ON THEIR LEGACY with DIMINISHING RETURNS like other GOTH 80s BANDS I COULD MENTION by not releasing any new material after 4:13 Dream which was the perfect CODA for me.
I don't often do LIVE but I did see them in concert and a FORTUITOUS UNHAPPY ACCIDENT (David Bowie's heart attack that retired him from performing

) meant they were bumped to TOP BILLING of the night (
it originally was Lou Reed, Cure and then Bowie, I KNOW RIGHT
) and boy, was that a concert and a half. They came onstage at midnight, opened with Plainsong and finished THREE HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES later with a FUNEREAL 10 minute version of Faith. It was MAGICAL.
