The DC Universe

Also on this it just feels like phase 4 was a bunch of random new characters with no link to the wider MCU chain, and all the continuation movies/series seemed tied to phase 3 more than being the start of something new.

They need a wider Thanos/stones type storyline to bring everything together. People want it to be working towards another “End Game”

This is what is going to happen funks. Majors' Ant-man role sets up the storyline leading to Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, in a similar fashion to Infinity War & Endgame. I agree about Phase 4 too, besides, we haven't heard that much from a lot of those characters since, and if they are coming back or not.

Oh that’s good. And yes I feel like I’ve fallen behind a little, but so far I don’t see the point in the Eternals for instance. I don’t see how they fit into everything else. Although wasn’t Black Bolt teased at the end of that? It’s been a while. And isn’t he from the Inhumans?

Bear in mind I’ve never read a comic in my life and my knowledge of the universe outside of the movies comes from the Lego games :D

They also need to tread carefully with the TV series. I think it’s great that the universe can expand so much, and they make great spin offs and bonus content but nobody (except the hardcore fan base) is watching all the series and they integrate way too heavily into the films now. You feel like you’re gate crashing sometimes and it becomes more of a slog to stay emotionally invested in the continuity. I don’t think I would have appreciated the Dr Strange sequel even half as much if I hadn’t seen Wanda, and that’s the only series I’ve watched.

They just can't get anything right can they :D

I refuse to believe it's worse than Justice League though. I don't think that that is scientifically possible.

Is that just loons responding to Amber Heard's appearance? I know they were "demanding" she be cut out and/or recast
