Mama, this is garbage.

As a fan of the original, which I thought had something to say about corporate life and its particular breed of sado-masochism, and was littered with fabulous one-liners... this was like bad fan service, which ended up with Andy... loving being a corporate slave.

After Succession and Severance, it felt... reductive.

And don't get me started on Gaga. Her acting was bad and she looked God awful. Why did she approve this?

I found the jOuRnaLisM iS dYiNg rant that ended up in the nice Australian man having to leave quite hilarious.

I enjoyed this nonsense but it really was terrible. I was very amused by the paper thin pace of the plot - my favourite being how Andy won a major journalism award, was fired as a journalist, and then hired back at Runway within the first 5 minutes of the film :D

I liked the plot twist involving Miranda now having a bigger figure to answer to and seeing a more vulnerable side of her, but it left me questioning, where was this man during the first film?

It was fine to pass 90 minutes with, but I didn’t much chuckle let alone laugh the whole way through like the first.

I get it was only made just because, but a bit more would’ve been nice!

He’s quite a large part of Miranda’s plot from the first film!
