Upstairs were having a party last night, I didn't get to sleep until after 2am :evil:

Oh babe, I had a quiet weep yesterday morning and the ball & chain spent all day in a silent sulk. Must be the post Christmas comedown. Now it’s just days of dreading going back to work.

At least there’s your book to look forward to in 2021!
 
So much for getting up earlier. I'm going to be absolutely shagged out tomorrow morning, I can tell already. :(
 
I didn't get up until after 3pm yesterday, and not out of my pyjamas all day. Today I'm aiming for midday and then a walk in my new boots.
 
Choices today, I made a hotpot of last nights leftovers for lunch, thinking it would tide me over, but my friend what was coming turned out to be having dinner at home later so didn’t want dinner with me. But we still drank a decent amount so I’m shitfaced

Just been for a 6 mile walk to something called Maypole Green, which sounded delightful but was infact a road junction. Still have walked off about 5% of our buffet brunch this morning.
 
Got the three quickest VAT jobs processed today despite a few tears (mine) when Mr F came downstairs and said "it's Sunday, why are you working?". Three more to go but they involve a lot more work.

I’m still with my parents for Christmas and tonight we played vintage board games, it would’ve been a bit off of me to elect to sit in the spare room on a zoom instead of soaking up this family time. I’m breaking the rules for it, I need to make the most of it
