Well this was a whole lot of ludicrous what-the-fuckery, but it was the best kind.

It made Jurassic Park seem plausible by comparison. :disco:
 
Completely ridiculous (complimentary).

I'm quite serious when I say it's my favourite movie starring Anne Hathaway (so far) this year, though my expectations for 'Verity' is that it's going to come along and blow them all out the water.
 
Anne Hathaway has SIX films this year where she is the star :o

She’s had years with four films before, but they included cameo appearances, narrations of documentaries and animated films like Rio. Did she clone herself or something?

My favourite scenes were:
the dad actually dying:o
the titanboa SLITHERING into the house - you’d just absolutely freak wouldn’t you x
the boy DESERVEDLY breaking his arm after being such an agent of chaos the whole film
my husband says he wants everyone to know that any scene with the librarian was his fav
Anne Hathaway paying homage to Shelley Duvall’s unique style of screaming in The Shining
 
I didn't hate this. Tonally it was a bit all over the place, but it wasn't without its thrills. That giant snake was terrifying! Not an incredible film by any stretch, but easily the best dinosaur movie since the original Jurassic Park.
 
I thought this was really bad tbh. At least it was better than the last Jurassic World sequel I guess. Kind of nice to see a SAPPHIC burgeoning teen romance in a family blockbuster though. And yes, the snake thing was the best bit.
