Last day of our Italian tour and weve inadvertently ended up in Sicily during a massive fucking national holiday. We have to be up at 4am for our flight but tonight will be wild. Hey ho!

We’ve just been to book our taxi to the airport at reception and were asking about it. My opinion is we’ll be travelling home tired and possibly still pissed 😍

For me to go places these days, I need to know they've got adequate lavatory facilities.
 
It's not quite true to say it's the best place to watch the balloons though. It's great if they are flying east, but not much use if they are going west.

My childhood is full of memories of balloons landing in our playing field across the road. They are just part of every summer weekend in Bristol, weather permitting. To an extent I find it odd when non locals get so excited by seeing a few in the sky :D

I was out with my 16 year old nieces last week and they were droning on about something. Couldn't be arsed to ask. I've only the vaguest idea who she is.

Some more Tiktok searching has revealed the new film she's in is about domestic violence and apparently during the promotion, Blake has been promoting her own hair care range and trivialising domestic violence.

Is it not a bit much to ask an actor to keep playing the part when the film was wrapped months ago? Unless she's literally answering questions with promo: "I think the main thing that would have made the character's life better would have been this NEW AMAZING HAIR MASK!". Other than that, give her a break.
 
There is more to it anyway. Most of the main cast unfollowed the director, Justin Baldoni, so there is something afoot behind the scenes

Apparently he pulled away from them all and didn't want to promote the film with them all. But I'm still unsure why.

All I've gathered so far from my research is that Blake likes to talk about herself a lot.

Yes fair point. Ive seen lots of comments from DV survivors criticising her for not being more thoughtful in interviews, and then other people seem to rave about her. I'm now on the fence, but I love her husband.

The film has been incredibly successful and there’s a sequel novel, so we’ll see how much they all hate the director when we see if he’s back for the sequel.

I get that no one wants to be on the receiving end of trauma dumping by "strangers" but there's a way to make the point and then there's... this.
 
I finally found out today after the interview LAST FRIDAY that I didn’t get the job.

Fuck them and fuck their job. And their timekeeping skills
