I usually really like Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Maika Monroe (and Raúl Castillo looked very hot), but this was just way too subdued and boring. Rebecca De Mornay was sorely missed.
It's also quite unrealistic they would keep the nanny around after the thing with the baby formula and the firework incident.
And having a male Julianne Moore stand-in was homophobic.

Yeah this was as DULL AS DISHWATER and an insult to the original's memory. I'm all for remakes trying new things but this felt very "WHAT'S THE POINT?". Almost like they had the title rights and a spare two grand and just cobbled something together in a couple of months. A completely underwhelming experience overall.

And how DARE they only lean into the camp in the final five minutes
