I've done a search and even though it's been out for two weeks and the reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, I can't see a thread for this. Was Moopy too scarred from "Don't Worry Darling" to give Olivia Wilde's newie a go?
This was such a delight. I think a handful of characters, in one location, over the course of one evening, is when cinema speaks to me the most. Everyone was just so good. If I have to single one out, I think my favourite was Penelope, but I was also quite taken with pegging fan Ed Norton, and he was the one I was least excited by going into it.
I'd say the only thing stopping it from being a perfect 10 for me is the tonal shift towards the end. Probably needed, but I just wanted the hilarity to go on and on.
