I swear to god she'd better not try and hit us with:

"It's been such a busy year, with the TOTEM mix of Hounds. A tremendous amount of work but it was made worthwhile by all your lovely messages."

I know she says she hasn't actually STARTED anything, but this is the first indication she's ever given that she is actually planning to have another album and hasn't retired!

My reaction was more HANG ON, SHE REALLY FUCKING HASN'T BEEN DOING ANYTHING NEW MUSIC-WISE FOR 13 YEARS? but I'm pleased you've been able to pop a positive spin on it

I am just happy to know SOMETHING, but I also had started to think she would never consider recording another album again. I listened to Among Angels the other day and thought "Well, this was the finale of her career". But maybe NOT!
 
I've just watched it on her homepage. It's moving enough and quite well done.

A bit wild she thought people would be more empathetic to a ratty little shrew than an ACTUAL CHILD in that situation, and changed the character accordingly.

There's an accompanying blog post, which is so long I can only assume she had to enter The Priory and be put on a drip after hitting publish -

Yes unfortunately I rained a bit on Iguana's parade when he was reciting the above to me, for the much the same reason... :eyes:

But it is a least exciting to HEAR from her.

I wonder if by archiving she means the remastered vinyls boxsets? Love that was SIX YEARS AGO.
