By Gia Coppola with Pamela Anderson in the lead.

Premiered in Toronto this week to a big reception, some very favourable reviews, some very unfavourable reviews. Some say worthless, some say Academy Award nomination for Anderson. đź‘€

No trailer as of yet.

I'm piqued. I saw another round of make-up less Anderson talking about it. Imagine if both she and Moore are up for Best Actress.

Ah, yes, it's a kindred spirit to Lana's Ride monologue, of course that's gonna land with me.

I am not one to usually frequent this forum as I don’t watch a lot of new films but this has PIQUED my interest.

I liked this but sadly didn’t LOVE it. It was absolutely gorgeous to look at and the cast were all great, but the script was laughably awful in some parts.

There’s a scene between Pamela’s character and her daughter that is such a GCSE drama exposition dump that I almost had to walk out of the cinema from embarrassment. :D

This was disappointing. I don’t know what I was expecting, but ultimate white Nepo Baby Gia Coppola clearly is not a good director. Pam was great, but it went nowhere.

Was it when she went to see her in one of the last shows? After twenty GOD knows how many years and basically told her it was shit? :D That caught me off guard and thought it was unnecessarily toxic, plus how it escalated into "you abandoned me as a BABY to dance naked in front of an audience!" within seconds. but kudos to Billie Lourd (32) for playing a 20 year old.

Yeah this is it. Some great roles, Pamela acting her life out, but the direction was wank

There as also a scene early on, just with the women all talking in a kitchen, and it was filmed like it was done on a smartphone by a drunk person walking around the room.

I had to google it, it felt like I was watching one of those dodgy copies people used to make on camcorders in cinemas years back

Pam really tried her best here but was really let down by an APPALLING SCRIPT! I also nearly turned off at the scene with the CRUEL DAUGHTER telling her she’d WASTED HER LIFE!

Pam is pretty terrible in this, but then everyone else is too. The script is terrible and nothing really hangs together. Las Vegas as a background for faded dreams is hardly a groundbreaker, but it did have a certain atmosphere which I enjoyed.

With a better director, I think Pam could deliver something special - she's quite magnetic in parts. This unfortunately isn't it.

There was a good film in there SOMEWHERE, although maybe it should’ve been a Lana Del Rey song instead.
