Sorry, missed it.

Having looked at the thread this was an error - I just cut and pasted the names of everyone who was mentioned - the only mention of LSL was you saying she had to stay. I wasn't really reading the posts by that time, just cut and pasting. It would have been a bit harsh but, hey, I am mere flesh, blood, fat and anxiety, I make mistakes.

I don't recall us ever having a Eurovision banner. I guess there are other priorities.

Edit: I think we used host country colours but not a full banner.

Who is she? Did she win or something? I've not kept much track with Eurovision in recent years.

I think I made two Eurovision banners. One was really shit because I hadn't worked out Photoshop yet, the other was for the year Israel won and turned out alright.

I'm absolutely bonkers today, the worst I've been in about 9 months and I don't even know why. I had to go and sit on another floor at work because my immediate counterparts were annoying the living fuck out of me.

Apart from that, yeah, fine.

The lack of Eurovision representation in the banner, when it usually gives Moopy the best posting week year after year, is appalling.

That's like saying we should have Christmas songs on the radio all year round.
 
Eurovision isn't an annual event. It's a way of life.

And it may give us the best posting week each year, but it also props up the posts for a huge chunk of the year. Look at VoR's topic last week.

I agree that not having ESC (or Drag Race, for pretty similar reasons) representation on the banner is a shame. They are both a huge part of moopy for a lot of posters. But we had a vote and they didn't make it.
 
EUROVISION WINNER Celine Dion got 18 votes. If that isn't representation, then I don't know what is.

If you put Laura Poldvere in the banner, people wouldn't think Eurovision. They'd think, 'who is that ropy old slapper?'
