Well I guess that’s sort of where I am, I know people post this stuff on social media, but I don’t get why as much fuss gets made as it is with real gold star cunts (and there are plenty of those).

Twitter really is just what you make of it yourself. My experience has been mostly positive. Film Twitter away from superhero franchise fans is quite a lovely safe space. Apart from Wes Anderson fans. They’re weird.

True, but I’m also not quite sure why even the truly awful people need to be taken down by a mob. If anything, those truly awful people only seem to benefit from being villified because of the attention they get.

Thoughtlessness isn't evidence of callousness, in my experience. What's happening here is that a pre-existing impression of him is being added to by a certain interpretation. Once people start doing that, there's nothing you can do about it.
