The offical Moopy Eurodance EXTRAvaganza: Fri FEB 12th 9PM

I tell you what YouTube Music app has changed my life in terms of discovering niche music with videos.

Dub-I-Dub. I was hoping to enter this into an ASFM, it really is up there with the best IMO. I have the single, but cannot remember if it had any good remixes.

Gala - Come Into My Life. Love the video, which is no surprise as they clearly were important to her. She actually started in the clubs papping the girls and boys that looked like girls and the first single Everyone Has Inside was what became of that. CIML was indeed her 3rd Italian #1, but Freed From Desire bizarrely didn't reach the summit. So leaving EHI off what was basically an extended play does seem rather bizarre, but her record deal was a terrible one and therein probably lies the clue. Lovely to read COB say he prefers the more recent Lose Yourself In Me and Taste of Me as they got her back on the Eurodance track and truly surpassed herself visually with their accompanying films.

Deuce. I always think of the tartan skirts on TOTP, doodvid (who I'm convinced is a current poster - hey girl!) and that my all time favourite is No Surrender. I also always wonder if they would have been due more from Matt Darey had Rock the Disco squeezed another top 20 out of them. Pow.

2 Unlimoted. My major favourite is Faces, the extended intro is absolutely mega. The Real Thing is on their podium though. I've also always been rather fond of Maximum Overdrive. God Ray was it - lucky Dannii.

How much does Alexia look like Alyssa Milano. Speaking of Milan, I really did expect Tiffany here (thank god she ain't)

Captain Hollywood
Daze
Candle Jay

All ASFM entries, no?

CH More and More I know because it was on a Now CD. It's like if the Real McCoy had been more into Massive Attack and read a newspaper.

I loved Wynter Gordon's first album. Still Getting Younger can join Gwen's The real thing for pop princess songs in the trail of New Order. Till Death is ferocious. Australia sometimes had great taste. What was it, Central Station?

Playahitty. I'm sure we got the Corona girl covered here. I only know the train song as the other collab here, but this is by far the best.

Amber has 3 stellar dance pop albums. Even when it got a bit iffy, she was only ever a remix away. This Is Your Night ought to have been huge. I'm guessing the innards she was perceived to have been making in the US was prioritized (she had 3 songs do very well - Colour of Love is worse and One More Night almost points to the more fatalistic tint that would flare up quite nicely on subsequent albums thank you very much Ambz.

The woman gets not much credit, but whatever she's called, I'm sure she was meant to be billed on the single too. I think she managed 1 half decent moment in the video. The totp performance was missing only live snakes.

Mr Vain was one of the most exciting #1s of my childhood. Did alright in Germany, whereas here very much quickly confined to one hit wonder status. I love how wasp ish her vocals were.

Not heard this Helena one. Sounds like a Russian hooker living to tell the tale. Oh it's lovely now. The ghost of I will Love Again is in there too.
