The Real Housewives of Melbourne (7 Viewers)

With her claims that she wears no underwear combined with *that* high kick, I was worried/hoping that we'd see Pettifleur's fleur brune.
 
This made me laugh :D

Pettifleur reveals that some sort of heated incident happened behind the scenes between she and Gina recently while they were on the publicity trail for the show. As she tells it, the pair were having a fiery argument when Gina grabbed her, twisting her arm, and called her the c-word “four times in a row”. This is actually the Real Housewives version of saying ‘Beetlejuice’ into a mirror three times, so don’t try it at home. If you do, Andrea will appear and she won’t leave the house until she GETS HER APOLOGY.

Pettifleur really fell apart during this reunion. It was quite sad to see really, I mean, she's annoying as fuck on the show but it is painfully obvious it's all just an act.

However, her storming off after being accused of drinking too much and Gina's guffawing was hilarious.

In other news, Mob Wives Series 2 is dragging, it's obvious they are keeping Dreeta and Ramona/Karen apart until the season finale but it just can't come soon enough :disco:
 
I just started watching this...Lydia (the architect one) seems like a bitch.

Season 2 just dragged on too long with 19 episodes. Season 3 is much better again, much like season 5. *flips table*
 
For me, Renee just can't stop serving. She's a permanent emotional toilet flush, the shaky hand in particula, death stares and yelling (though the bar guy was such a plant from the producers). Ramona is stirring it up well enough (I don't hate her), Karen has backed down into peacemaker, and the ex-husband back from the half-way house is hot.
 
Did I mishear or did Pettifleur drunkenly misremember Gina calling her 'cunt' four times when in fact she'd been calling her 'cute'? :D Such a tragic figure. That book/pamphlet, edited by her 15 year old son/lover with the handwritten pencil annotations in it still. I almost feel sorry for her, biiittches

They really upped the ante of the reunion this time. And I see Manuella muscles in to next week. *Gina exits stage left*

Renee just gives and gives. I couldn't believe it when she said she was 42.

I am coming round to Ramona too, she's such a stirrer. I love her teeth.
 
I'm still watching season 1 (slightly boring), it's all a bit housewives 101. Lydia studying interior design is laughable, Jackie trying to launch a drink in four weeks (Sonja Morgan isn't that delusional) and Andrea writing her book as a revenge letter to that woman who told her she's a terrible mother is hilarious.

I like Chicka and Janet is a bit sad, I don't get what Gina is and Lydia is one of the most hateful housewives ever.
 
ITVbe are doing a promo with the hash tag "new arrivals" for the Summer, during which I heard dont mess with me Cheshire's Mugabe, and seen some season 1 footage of Jackie trotting out in her bikini (remember how pathetic Andrea and Lydia were with the menopausal mean girls act of the sunloungers?), which I hope means season 2 premiers and not simply re-runs. It got my badly branded juices flowing anyway.
 
What WAS Lydia's tantrum about not being moved to the end of the couch :D ?
 
Such a (undeserved) random diva moment. By the end of it, it looked like they'd all had enough quite frankly!

Apparently they're all up for Season 3 though I'd be tempted to ditch Pettifleur, who peaked with the cliffhanger last week and totally fizzled out this episode (and those 'Switch The Bitch' jewellery pieces? Ugh) but replace her with the ditzy eyebrow artist/future best-selling author friend cameo, promote Manuela to main cast much to the chagrin of the rest of them combined, and pair up Gamble & Tempest as a comedy tag team duo. And have Andrea turn up to wreak havoc for one episode (with season-long repercussions naturally).
 
I would quite like the same cast for season three. Especially now that Janet has gone for Lydia and Petty over Twitter. They could all team up and bring her down.
 
Poor Lydia - shes had to deal with Andrew's open-heart surgery, memories of her still-born baby resurfacing and now has Pettibleurgh as her best mate. HASN'T SHE SUFFERED ENOUGH? :(

Meanwhile, the smile Renee cracks, fag in hand, as she shares her realisation (in that Marge Simpson's long lost mob-connected 3rd sister voice of hers) that Jr being imprisoned for 7 years means he can't cheat in her is possibly my series highlight so far. I keep re-winding it back. She's demented.

Stick with it. You need to get to the references to "slang word for female external genitalia" conflict to truly understand the appeal of this bunch of misfits.
 
And you need to stay on for the Andrea and Gina showdown in the cafe.

Just watched the second Melbourne reunion, thanks to Doodvid, and my highlight was Gamble WIPE THE FLOOR with Manuela in the crudest of ways :D

Gamble is just hilarious and desperate to be there. She'll actually say and put up with anything

So true. She almost eclipsed Queen Geen for me this season for all the reasons you point out, plus showing a bit of humility by actually 'owning' her mistakes - something Ms Liano would never do.

The wedding will be a hoot.
 
Season 1 time bomb, so who's Gina's "partner"? Cunt gate is really something else. Gina is ridiculous, is she some sort of mob lawyer who's got hits on the other women that they are so afraid of her.

So did Andrea leave of her own volition or did Gina get her kicked out?
 
Andrea walked (though I'm sure a certain someone definitely made sure that particular deck of cards was nowhere near being stacked in her favour...). Post-reunion, she moaned about having to change outfits at least five times a day to satisfy the storyline requirements and apparently made it up with Gina.
 
Season 2 is an improvement, I laughed hard when Petitfour announced that her book was called switch the bitch at dinner and Chyka nearly chocked on her food.
 
Cheshire is going to be shown on Arena down under. It's pretty crap in comparison to Melbourne so there will be a lot of disappointed Aussie Gays
 
They really need to pull their finger out for drama and storylines in S2 or its curtains
 
I think we're finally getting the 'long-awaited' Karen vs Dreet meet. For my own interest level, Renee had better make it all about her, with her gammy hand shaking more ridiculously than ever. I know her face is very severe and terrifying, but she can be very striking looking.

I don't mind getting a spoiler: is Carla due to leave after this season?
 
Cheshire didn't need all the artificially inseminated storylines, otherwise it was great viewing once it got going.
 
Oh poor Carla, her hot as ex husband is going steady with another mouse. I hope it won't make her face any longer than it already is. Drita's rap was like Saturday Night Live doing Lil' Kim.
