The first 48 seconds did look MARVELLOUS though :D
 
Finally had the time to watch it (Thanks for the link! :disco: ).

Great first episode, but is Lydiot going to be the new Gina? I'm loving her argument with Janet but I found her backseat driving and interaction with her housekeeper boring and too obviously fake.

Pettifleur is really bringing it, can't wait to see her crushed. :D And I'm glad that Jackie is mostly in the background now... but looks like Gina is too? :(

Not sure about the new housewife, she looks rather rough. It's what Geru would have looked like had both her parents been Spanish.
 
Gina was filming Celebrity Apprentice at the start of this season so she won't be around that much to begin with. But when she arrives it looks like it will be with a bang. "SNAP THE FUCK OUT OF IT!!!" :disco:

This season is on FIRE. It's hard to pick a favourite moment, but one of them would be Lydia throwing all the other women under the bus to Pettifleur and then standing there with a grin while they're all screaming at each other. :D

I went from absolutely loathing Lydia for her too obviously scripted comments about Joanna to saluting her for what she did towards the end of the episode. :D


Also loving the symbolism of the whole meeting; all the girls wearing white and Lydia black.

It's a bit baffling that she's nearly coming across as SMART.

Like the first series she was such a cunt with Andrea, then she seemed to genuinely learn to shut her mouth in the second one.

Now she's seen how badly Pettifleur came across last series she's decided she'll up the cunt stakes for 2016 and probably not face the backlash she had last time.

Susie is a waste of space. I know they brought her in for conflict with Lydia, but there was really no point! :D
 
Susie is a quiet fighter, I like that. When she said "Lydia's quite shameless, she's ruthless...just LESS" :D

I actually really feel for Pettifleur. Lydia did a pretty shite thing to her. And the interaction with her sister (hired drag queen?) was really quite disturbing.

Actually, after catching up a bit more, she is still a pompous bitch, but I actually also feel a little sorry for Pettifleur. She really is clueless to how awful the likes of Lydia can be, and her fake 'switch the bitch' attitude just becomes sad :(
 
Latest episode was a little quieter but some great lines

"I think she's making SHIT UP" :D I kinda hate Lydia but that was great. As was Susie's under-breath "Yeah that's really interesting" :D

I felt embarrassed for poor old Chyka as it was all so beneath her. I just cannot wait any longer for the big fall of Janet and her odious sidekick Jackie. Hate them!

Loving what we got to see from the next episode with Pettifleur telling Jackie she's all fart, no shit. :D

it really must be said that they all seem to be going for pettifleur a season late? she seems a bit more reasonable now so jackie just came off like an odious cunt. who treats people like that for no real reason?
 
is this worth watching from the beginning or can I enjoy it from just watching at any point?
 
If you like the Aussie accent a good dropping of the F Bomb you'll love it Su. And the ladies switch friendships so often you can come in anywhere.

But I do feel season one really set the scene for the rest.

I hadn't watched any of the others apart from a few Atlanta, but Melbourne has me hooked :disco:
 
It's the only one I've ever got into, but I'm a bit biased having lived there for many years. It does seem to be unique though (mainly due to the C word been a general day-to-day greeting down under).
 
Watch it from the beginning Su. It only gets better but season one is still hilarious.
