The Rehearsal season 2 is on Now TV now and it’s absolutely wild 3 episodes in. There really is nothing quite like it. Episode 1 is a bit slow followed by the 2 most unhinged episodes of TV I’ve ever seen.

I need someone else from Moopy to watch this, I’m up to episode 4 and I could hardly breathe at the Einstein woman, I had to pause for several minutes.

I like the concept of The Rehearsal but not sure I quite get it. I did enjoy episode 2 with the pilot banned from all the dating apps :D

I haven't seen the previous season but dived into the first two episodes of this. That awful pilot, I eagerly await the twist.

I've heard them talking about it on the Trixie and Katya podcast so it's on my list, but I'll watch season 1 first

Yeah I imagine season 2 would be challenging without getting used to the premise in season 1. Season 2 definitely feels lighter than season 1, which as a first attempt at the concept is a bit of a headfuck to watch and gets quite dark.

The way it then just went into him rehearsing with the chief exec of Paramount+ Germany. I’m still not sure why that whole bit with the episode missing happened?

I’ve not seen the episode it references but from what I gather they considered the humour anti-semitic, despite Nathan being Jewish, and the bit being him creating a company that raised millions for holocaust awareness.

Who is the host? Is he famous? Does he have access to the panini funds to just recreate houses and restaurants for shits and giggles?

So, why is he going straight to confronting the difficult one and not picking off the sympathetic friends first?

AND SHE DIDN'T GIVE HALF A SHIT!!!

What a STUNNING WASTE OF RESOURCES :disco:

Also I feel like there is some meta experiment going on that I, the viewer, am the subject of/complicit in.

HATE IT!

Not the ACTING SCHOOL :ToneNervous:

Stop spreading your WICKED WAYS

Also I can feel my grip on reality slipping with each passing episode

Well that was WILD, and by the end ABSOLUTELY HAUNTED

God I hope HBO are paying for that poor kid's therapy for the rest of his life.

Where was the ETHICS TEAM in all of this? And they commissioned a second series of this WICKEDNESS?

I can't wait to watch it tomorrow night :disco:

I've just started episode 2.

I regret watching this on a hangover.

I haven’t seen this yet but I watched Fielder’s other show with Emma Stone (The Curse), which was 9 episodes of almost unwatchable cringe (intentional) followed by one of the most batshit finales I’ve ever seen.

I still haven’t figured out whether or not I particularly enjoyed it, but it was certainly bold.

You could have given me all the time in the world and I would never have predicted the premise of Season 2 Episode 2!

:basil:

And it's only going to get more unhinged!?

:MeredithMarks:

The journey episode 2 has taken me on. I'm disappointed that I need to leave rather than continue watching this immediately.

I'm also going to have to download this removed episode and see it for myself

I’m rewatching series 1 now, I forgot how brutal the ending of episode 1 was :D
