I thought this was great fun, though I did start to feel like "ok, I've had a good time, but let's start wrapping up now" before realising that Allison Janney hadn't appeared yet so there must have been a fair bit to go (though in the end she wasn't in it for that long at all, considering she's on the poster and her name is one of the first to pop up at the start)

Best joke was talking about what they're going to do with their American friends before it cuts to a gun range. I should dock a mark for Olivia Colman's line where she says that the kids "should be reading Harry Potter" :goodgrief:

It seemed to take ages for them to properly fall out and when they had the big showdown in the new house it seemed to wrap up pretty quickly and then they must have run out of budget for anymore. Still, a good laugh.

I absolutely loved this, but I think I’m biased by how much I love Olivia Colman. The people next to me, a group of women in their 80s, were having the time of their lives

I thought all the best bits were in the trailer. Kate McKinnon was in an entirely different film to the rest of them too. Not a patch on the Michael Douglas/Kathleen Turner film.

I think it helps that I’ve never seen the original, though I want to. Kate McKinnon and the rest of the neighbors was the worst part imo. I mostly just liked the leads and Allison Janney
