I didn't know this was adapted into a TV show. Ryan Murphy, Bret Easton Ellis and some nepo babies, what could go wrong?
:ToneNervous:

The novel started off ok but turned into the usual BEE drivel.
I wonder how many of the (gay) sex scenes they're keeping in.

I know it's dumb but every time I see the trailer for yet another show with an entirely white cast I'm surprised. it's truly like the last few years just... didn't happen.

The book was absolute SHITE.

I’m sure Ryan Murphy will sanitise it.
Yep the book was pure trash (and not in a good way) and it is of course no wonder that Ryan Murphy has got his dirty hands on it

This will be awful

Kaia though :disco: I hope her acting is as bad as her momma’s

Not being nasty but Homer Gere…is Carey Lowell a drinker?

I watched the first episode last night and it was as awful and fun as I expected.

The cast is gorgeous but there isn’t a great actor among them. I do think it’s very Ryan Murphy to cast Cindy Crawford’s daughter and Richard Gere’s son.

Kaia really does look gorgeous though. Her “acting” is atrocious but my god she’s irresistible to look at.

The “twist” was a bit jarring I have to say though. Not something I’ve seen before.

Not nice to say but Homer Gere is being VOGUEMOGGED by everyone else in that tweet.

I refuse to believe someone would call their child Igby Rigney.

Or Homer for that matter after 10 years of The Simpsons.

just realised this is the (once) iconic September issue. fuck them!

Yeah there’s discourse on Twitter about this being THE issues and this is the cover. It used to be an iconic month now it’s just garbage yearly

why the fuck is everything shot in flat cool tones against a fucking grey screen? these people paid a lot to look this good. shoot them in NATURAL LIGHT for once in their SORRY LIVES.

it gets right on my TITS!

Watched the first two episodes last night and that’s it for me.

It just feels so flat and lifeless. It doesn’t help that it’s almost a word for word book to screen adaptation and I hated the book.

And yes the nepo babies’ lack of talent also stinks everything up.

I know there isn’t a soul watching this but it’s just getting more and more unhinged and I can’t get enough lol

The dancing show was enough but homecoming :D

Susan is just the worst though too - and the vile skunk hair gay. Debbie and Evan Rachel Wood on the other hand :disco:
