The Traitors IRELAND

We absolutely need a Siobhan moopmoji so please keep an eye out for potential candidate moments

Why aren’t we getting any gratuitous idents?

I’ll be very sad if Paudie bumbles their way to the end.

Even worse than :MerylPerplexed:

YES OYIN!

Happy for the other two as well but so happy the DETECTIVE QUEEN was rewarded

It was a good series, though the last few episodes weren't quite up to the level of how it started
I don't like that they always seemed to know exactly how many traitors there were, and they should absolutely have not revealed roles on the last night.

I'm blaming Paudie for that though, he was USELESS.

Finally finished. I thought it would die a death when Paudie was eliminated but those last few episodes before the finale. :o

You are mean girls!

Professional gamer Oyin was indeed queen sleuth. The way she sussed every little move out until about the fourth last episode, briefly lost the plot, and then came round again in dazzling colours. :disco:

Joanna and Faye’s banishments were pretty devastating…at least when Joanna was banished, the others had the decency to seem upset, but they weren’t that bothered when Faye went! Vanessa in particular went down in my estimations towards the end, her eyerolls at Faye were pretty unpleasant, as was Kelley’s laughing “thanks for the shield” comment to Joanna. My ideal outcome would have been the lovely Ben taking it all, but that was pretty unlikely.

But all in all, a great series. And Siobhan was a brilliant host!

Entered this thread before thinking I could spoil it by doing so, so I'm not going to read it back.

But it's really quite good, isn't it? Three episodes in and Paudie is possibly the most woeful traitor I've seen across any version, and not too convinced on the other two at this stage either, but I'd be amazed if any could make it all the way to end. And it does feel as if the faithful are perhaps a little less clueless than UK4.

Also enjoying the liberal sprinkling of fucks :D

Everything is spoilered - we were kind

I'm really enjoying it too. Paudie is hilariously messy and I agree that the other two aren't in the strongest positions either.

The lower budget is noticeable after watching UK S4, but then I imagine if I watched the first UK series now the difference between the two wouldn't be so great. Siobhan is very good value and I do like the castle setting. They need some mood lighting for the round table though.

I've been thinking these should have their own UK pace threads. Will create some now and see how they're received.

Can't resist going ahead of the BBC schedule. Starting episode 9 now.

I do find myself being less and less interested in the challenges.

Did Faye make or give that girl the drink - I can't remember. If she did, then Nick's hug would be even more inconspicuous.

I dunno, I think Claudia makes these macabre funeral scenarios work in a way that here I'm just finding tasteless. Too drawn out for me anyway.

Now that Paudie is finally gone the game could belatedly really begin, as in a traitor who can plot and apply some tactics. He and my lovely ginger bear Eamon were such live wires.

Poor Jo. I assume those girls will all have made up by now. Such an error giving away the shield and also not having a good argument against someone to use her double vote.

Vanessa destroying Faye at the round table and yet somehow she's shouting and interrupting Faye when it's the other way around. If they can get rid of Faye maybe then they can somehow turn their attention to the men. Episode 11 here.

A necessary evil. They can't have a repeat of that debate tomorrow. I'm wondering if any heat on the men was left out the edit to make it look like they're getting away with it.

I just think Oyin and Vanessa have proved their worth more than the others and I want them to win. However, I am taking a break to watch Love Island.

Oh I'm surprised they had Ben reveal himself :ken:

A fantastic mess at the beginning, I'm glad I binged the final episodes as they weren't anywhere near as erratic.
